Help Volt Poland register as a party!
About us
About us
Volt Polska is part of the European movement Volt Europa. We operate across 30 countries to build a Europe that works: united, democratic, and capable of transcending borders to solve common challenges.
We are already active in Poland, but to drive real change and participate in elections, we need to register as an official political party. And your help can make that happen.
Why we exist
Why we exist
Only a federal Europe will be strong enough to face the challenges of a changing world:
To ensure the security of member states threatened by Russia.
To keep our economies competitive against the power of the US and China.
To defend our democracy against the far right, big tech, and foreign interference.
Our political goals
Our political goals
Democratic reform: make decision-making fast, transparent, and accountable, so Europe can act and people can shape the future.
Economic reform: drive innovation and investment, speed up the green transition, and create prosperity for everyone.
Social reform: protect rights, create equal opportunity, remove barriers, and ensure dignity and inclusion across Europe.
How you can help
To have a real impact on Polish politics and to bring about these changes, we need to register as a political party. For this, we must collect 1,000 signatures of support from Polish citizens living in Poland or anywhere else in Europe.
1. Collect and send signatures!
Read the signature collection manual and print the signature collection template. Talk to your Polish friends or neighbours and ask them to sign. They do not need to reside in Poland: all Polish citizens 18 or older count!
Mind the data protection requirements: always cover the data of previous signatories using this handy print-out.
Once ready, send the completed forms to this address: Długa 29, 00-238 Warsaw, Poland, putting "Stowarzyszenie Volt Polska" as the recipient. The collection runs until November 13th.
2. Help us grow!
Whether you speak Polish or not, follow us on social media and engage with our posts when you see them. Your activity will feed the algorithm and help more people in Poland learn about our existence 😊
3. Chip in to keep us running!
If you don't have any Polish friends or colleagues, you can still make a difference by supporting us with a donation. Your 10€ can help us finance the collection: flyers, posters, events and other expenses.
Frequent questions
I don't live in Poland - can I still sign?
Yes. The law states that any Polish citizen who has reached 18 years of age and has full legal capacity can provide a signature. The regulations do not require residency in Poland.
When your Polish friend is filling out the address details, ask them to add the country of residence in parentheses at the end.
Does signing make me a member of Volt Poland?
No. Signing does not mean joining the party or making any other lasting commitment. It is a one-time act, similar to signing a petition or support the registration of a list of candidates before elections.
I have collected signatures. What now?
Great, thank you! Please use the address above to send us the signed forms. You can also contact us via social media to ask if anyone is coordinating a signature collection in your area already - maybe they can send them for you 😊
Why do you need this personal data?
We ask signatories for their PESEL number and residential address because it is required by the Polish Act on Political Parties. We will not store this data after submitting the signatures. We collect it solely to hand it over to the Court responsible for registering political parties.
I am not a Polish citizen - can I still help?
Yes! You can collect signatures among your friends who hold Polish citizenship, or support our collection campaign financially.
If you don't know any Polish citizens, perhaps you might also want to get in touch with the local Polish community in your area. They will surely make great friends! 😉
